Budget Friendly 1BR Retreat in Pavonia

I extended my reservation to stay at this property for a few additional days, and the host sent me a separate payment link for the extension, which I paid.On the second day of my extended stay, another group of guests unexpectedly walked into the apartment. They had also been given access to the property and believed they had a reservation. This was extremely concerning and uncomfortable, especially knowing that another group had been provided access to the apartment while I was still staying there.I immediately tried contacting the host but received no response. I also contacted VRBO, and they were unable to reach the host either. Since I could no longer comfortably stay at the property, I had to find a hotel at the last minute. Because it was a same-day booking, I ended up paying nearly twice as much for the hotel.VRBO was unable to issue a refund and instructed me to resolve the matter directly with the host, whom I still have not been able to reach. I have since initiated a chargeback with my credit card company.This experience was beyond inconvenient and raised serious concerns about how reservations and property access are being managed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property.
